I had some ideas: We could create buddies levels: i mean for exemple serpent and Starchaser have 80% of fav songs in common or more they have voted the same for 140 songs out of XX. So there scenesongtaste level is 80% with colored smileys ? |

The possibilities are endless... "X tends to like Y artist" "X tends to like Z platform" "X tends to like controversial tunes" "X tends to like releases around years N and M" "X tends to (dis)like tunes with these tags: (a, b, c)" All results are compared to serpent for SQ score (scener quotient). |

This is stupid idea. Why you wanna know statistic like that? Categorizing stuff like that makes it boring, imho. Also, it might create divisions in the community. But maybe I am seeing it too negative. Anyway, I have another proposition: Why not make the Favourites being sortable by platform?  |

Well... I think velusip's "possibilities" could be fun to look at -- a lot like the statistics like PhlubbyGnome used to run, showing who requested most 1* and 5* songs and so on (but those stats never considered two users together). I don't think we should display that on the site as "closeness" or "friendship" because then we would probably enter the area Triton mentions, of social point-scoring (X is a better friend/buddy because they agree on more tunas). Imagine R___! V___! constantly voting to make sure they are #1 buddies  -- Just display it as simple percentages or whatever. People who are interested can look at it; people who don't care can ignore it. |
