try it out, because sometimes, they are building HDR by taking three pictures in a short timelapse (as fast as they can I guess), with different ISO and then constructing the HDR image from those pictures with different luminosifty

If the oneplus has a shitty postprocessing to convert from RAW to JPEG, in such conditions (low light)... you could have done your own postproces (in darktable for instance) to avoid the one from your phone
