i was in the crazy psych ward when 9/11 happened, i remember seeing everyone cluster around the little TV. the druggies and the mad ones together. i was a mad one. gee

maupassant had psychic problems himself , and died in an asylum. horla story is maybe a bit autobiographical too. seems to be written in diary form (like dracula you told me?) interesting
