lemo i'm thinking of making one LMMS tune in a way it has some mixer bus looper delay and only 1 SID instrument ... haven't tested yet but should be possible.. (might need several mixer channels..)

In FT2/Milkytracker I tend to go up-to 6 channels. It's somewhat sweet spot

My preference of composing (but that's rare) is 3 versions, the 1st one as a draft that is "about there" and 2 more projects (started from scratch) the either one of a choice for an actual release, but i rarely followed that "rule of thumb"
