so -- anyone with amiga-fu want to convert a batch of these if i sent them over?
oh yeah, 4, remember how you said MED files never play back properly? well i found one and it jsut went click-click-click-click
It was an easy way to succeed in gaming. MMO made this even worse. The game didn't even have to be fun, just weirdly competitive based on how much loot you have accrued.
also if you remember "gamer" not really being a word. you were just a player
you know you're an old "gamer" if you remember Code Masters being two words. never mind if you have played a game or not since 1994
true, multiplayer. you can be your fave team and beat the other team
but now i realise "reluctantly presents" is just a self-deprecating joke, like pretending the game is crap
"Codemasters reluctantly presents..." it said on the loading screen. which i thought at the time was an apology for the 'adult' nature and bad language.
Multiplayer was a big pusher, and sports were easily adapted. It makes sense they became so popular, but I found they got old quick. i.e. I stopped caring about sports games after NHL 94.
Rock Star Ate My Hamster also amusing (music biz) but that had some amount of audiovisual content
