Yeah all editors (that i know of) use the standard ADSR. Mostly. The composer can srill change AD/SR during the time, track commands.

If you want something between the values 3 and 4, say 3.5, there is a trick you can stop the decay (giving it the longest value with certain timing) so it doesn't reach the new sustain too early. But that's not a default thing on normal editors but that's

Sustain has only 16 possible values, so it is, 4 bit only. But you can drop from one sustain level to, say, lower, it continues decay until the lower level.
