Agreed, we are living in a world which was total fiction 40 years ago. Why did the dystopian fiction become reality and not so much the Utopian? Or is that just a matter of perspective? Afterall we are the ones in control (I presume)

It's a wild thought, and perhaps unbelievable, but we're basically living out so many other sci-fi realities at present, so why not? I've been thinking about his idea a lot lately. I wonder if we're the last generation of purely "human" humans.
